We offer several ways that you can choose to receive the ashes, each with slightly different timescales. You can arrange to:
- Collect the ashes from the crematorium directly
This is the quickest way. If you decide to collect the ashes, you can do this 2 working days after the cremation has taken place. We’ll send you an email with the details of the crematorium, and the date of the cremation - Have us hand-deliver the ashes back to you
We will hand-deliver the ashes to anywhere in mainland UK. You can choose to receive the ashes within 5 working days after they are ready for collection from the crematorium, or within 30 days
If you are on certain types of benefits or tax credits you may be eligible for government support to help pay for the direct cremation. If this applies, then it may take longer for you to receive the ashes.
