If you want to leave your residential property to someone in particular you should use our telephone wills service. We’ll run some checks to confirm how the property is owned to make sure the correct wording is used in your will.
Alternatively, you can make a will online if your property forms part of your residuary estate and passes to your residuary beneficiaries. A ‘residuary estate’ means what’s left over after any gifts have been made, and your debts, funeral expenses and inheritance tax have been paid.
