If you want to make provision in your will for an unborn child (or future children) and you don't want to wait until a child is born, contact our telephone wills service.
When you're making a will using our online service, it's best to make a will which reflects your current situation, even if you’re pregnant and want to cover your unborn child. So you’ll only be asked for the names of your living children and their dates of birth as part of the online journey. When your child is born, you’ll be able to update your will to include them too.
Updating a will you've made online
When you send your online will to be checked by our specialists, you'll see the option to subscribe to our update service for just £10 a year. If you choose to subscribe, you'll be able to update your will whenever your circumstances change, at no extra cost.
