The Law Society recommend reviewing your will your will every five years to make sure it still fits with your life and circumstances. Of course, if your circumstances change sooner, you should update your will to reflect it.
You can update your will in your account, and for £10 a year, you can subscribe to our update service. This enables you to make the updates you need, whenever your circumstances change, at no extra cost.
To update your will
- Log in to your account
- Go to ‘Your progress’
- Update the relevant section of your will
- Resubmit your will for checking
After your updated will has been approved by our will specialists, you'll need to print and sign it again alongside two witnesses. To avoid any confusion for your executors in the future, it's also important that you destroy any copies of your old will.
